Vacation Clearing House & Exchange Officially Becomes a TERO-Certified Cherokee-Owned Enterprise
Vacation Clearing House & Exchange (VCHE) is proud to announce its official approval as a TERO-Certified business under the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO). This certification formally recognizes VCHE as a 100% Cherokee-owned and controlled enterprise, granting it eligibility to participate in tribal contracting, procurement opportunities, and business initiatives across the Cherokee Nation and other federally recognized tribes.
A New Chapter for Economic Empowerment
TERO Certification is more than a designation — it’s a declaration of purpose. It affirms VCHE’s commitment to building prosperity within Native communities by aligning with the Cherokee Nation’s mission of economic sovereignty, cultural empowerment, and self-determination.
“Becoming TERO Certified isn’t just a business milestone — it’s a homecoming,” said Eric and Roxana Moser, Founders and Managing Partners of VCHE.
“This recognition allows us to open doors for Cherokee citizens, Native-owned companies, and our tribal partners across the Nation. It means our success will circulate back into the communities that built us.”
What TERO Certification Means for VCHE
As a TERO-Certified enterprise, Vacation Clearing House & Exchange is now positioned to participate in a wide range of Cherokee Nation and intertribal business initiatives, including but not limited to:
✅ Eligibility for Tribal and Federal Contracting Opportunities – VCHE can now engage directly in projects reserved for Native-owned businesses under the Cherokee Nation’s preferential contracting policies.
✅ Partnership Access – The company is approved to collaborate with other TERO-certified firms and tribal enterprises, expanding opportunities for collaboration and joint ventures.
✅ Employment & Training Benefits – VCHE may hire through TERO employment programs, ensuring that job creation directly benefits Cherokee citizens.
✅ Economic Growth Through Sovereignty – Profits and opportunities are kept within tribal jurisdictions, strengthening Native-owned enterprise networks.
✅ Recognition as a Verified Cherokee-Owned Business – Official acknowledgment of VCHE’s ownership, leadership, and control under Cherokee Nation law.
VCHE’s Broader Mission: Travel Access for Tribal Nations
Beyond certification, VCHE is working to extend its private resort and wholesale travel platform to other Native-owned businesses, tribal governments, and employee programs.
This initiative — part of the company’s Tribal Partnership Program — will allow participating tribes and enterprises to offer white-labeled travel portals, create new revenue streams, and provide travel benefits directly to citizens and employees.
By reinvesting tourism revenue and platform access within Native economies, VCHE aims to help tribal nations reduce dependency on outside intermediaries and strengthen long-term sovereignty through self-sustaining ventures.
About TERO
The Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) enforces tribal laws requiring that Indian and Native-owned businesses receive preference in contracting and employment opportunities within the boundaries of the Cherokee Nation. TERO certification ensures that verified Native-owned enterprises can compete fairly and benefit directly from tribal economic development.
